Jamila's Jamadari, SDHR x Jamadari's Saint Grace How do I describe Zepar? He is a sweet, silly galoot of a dog. Though he's the most physically imposing animal in the house, he's also the most gentle and sensitive. He has a wonderful sense of humor and fun. He makes his own toys (a found plastic juice bottle is a big favoirte) and he actually likes to play fetch! I wonder if some other DNA got into the mix at his mom's AI... He is also pointed now, thanks to judges Donovan Thompson and Diane Young McCormac who called him "a stallion of a dog". Additionally, he placed in the prestigious Bred By Exhibitor class at the 2006 BCOA National Specialty, the largest dog class of the day. We're also proud of brother Cubby who later took RWD that day. Thank you Mrs. Egerton! August 5th 2006 marked Zep's lure debut. Though he didn't place, he was a mere 3 points behind those who did. He stopped about 3/4s of the way around during his first run as he managed to step on the line and burn his pads. However run #2 was excellent. We both enjoyed it immensely. The next day was the Evergreen Basenji Specialty, photos below. Marian Sweeney very graciously shared some she took. And nice ones at that! He's also participated in LGRA and shows lots of promise. He's a clean running FAST dog. And it's fun!

And he runs too! These were taken 2-24-07 at a local LGRA meet. We didn't win but he ran well. Someone couldn't stay within bounds. | |||
